Job Description & Summary
Every crisis brings its own complexities, affecting different parts of our client's organisations in varying ways. Do you want to help our clients with designing, communicating and practicing an integrated, enterprise-wide business resilience program? Enabling our clients to be prepared to navigate nuances around response and recovery with confidence when a disruption hits. You will have an important role together with the existing team to further build our crisis, resilience and business continuity footprint and services.
Through acquiring a lot of experience in the domains of continuity, crisis and resilience management and leadership, we have a strong team which seeks to grow due to accelerated developments in this market.
We are looking for Manager Crisis Management and Business Continuity specialist to join the team in growing the practice. The successful candidate should have a good working knowledge and experience with at least one of the following areas (preferably multiple areas):
- Crisis Management
- Business Continuity Management
- Organisational resilience
- IT Disaster Recovery
What will you be doing?
You will have the opportunity to undertake a variety of tasks ranging from collaboration in solution development, supporting business development and at a prominent place: delivery of projects together with other subject matter experts. In your day-to-day job you will guide clients in making them more resilient towards internal and external disruptions. You will:
- Support in the preparation and execution of client engagements, including:
- Crisis and business continuity maturity assessments and roadmaps.
- Advising clients on their resilience strategy including business continuity and crisis management.
- Support selection and implementation of technology platforms supporting crisis management and business continuity.
- Developing crisis simulation scenarios and crisis management training.
- Coach and support career development for more junior colleagues
- Support in writing proposals and other business development
- Maintain relation with joint business relations (e.g. technology vendors for crisis management, resilience and business continuity solutions)
- Work with colleagues in other service areas and support our clients’ Crisis and Resilience needs, including Risk Consulting, Supply Chain Consulting and Internal Audit to name a few.
Does this describe you?
- Holder of a degree in higher education
- 4+ years of experience with resilience, crisis management and/or business continuity management.
- Experience in consulting and advice roles for clients
- Skilled in project management fundamentals, including guiding and coaching junior colleagues.
- Experience with best practice frameworks such as ISO 22301, ISO 22316 and ISO 22320 and holder of associated certificates (e.g. from PECB)
- Preferred experience with regulations such as NIS2 and DORA
- Language skills: Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
