You and your job

Working as a Tier 3 Cyber Security Analyst are responsible to coordinate and guide the Tier 1 & 2 analysts. You are responsible to ensure the results of the analysts is on par with the quality required. As a Tier 3 you are expected to be a subject matter expert in the DFIR domain. Proficiency in analyzing security logs, network traffic, and other sources of security telemetry to identify and investigate potential threats. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. • Execution of tuning or suppression of incidents and the creation of detections based on threat intel.
• Serve as the trusted technical authority when it matters most, leading with clarity and confidence during high-stakes incidents.
• Convey incident knowledge with your technical expertise to write an incident report in a structured and clear manner.

We are searching for someone to lead by example. You are a subject-matter expert in the area of DFIR. You have an attacker’s mindset and are able to use this in security cases. Keeping an overview and the ability to zoom out is one of your strong suits. No complex data question is too hard for you and you enjoy diving deep to answer those questions. You keep calm during a crisis and ensure good coordination within the team of analysts.

You and your talent

• 6+ years’ experience in the Digital Forensics and Incident Response are
• Technical authority in querying and analyzing logs to unravel a cyber attack
• One or more relevant qualifications like OSCP, GEIR, GREM, GDAT, CISSP
• Enjoy working together and coaching others to improve themselves
• Creativity – think like an attacker
• Judgement & decision making – dare to take action where needed
